Senior Clinical Data Manager, CDM  - San Francisco Bay Area

Ideal candidate will be onsite in the San Francisco Bay area.  Will consider remote with travel into the office for meetings, etc.  Candidate must be on the west coast preferably:
San Francisco Bay area, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Diego.


 
Our client, a progressive biopharmaceutical company with multiple trials in Phase I-III, has a new opportunity for a Senior Clinical Data Manager professional with oncology expertise in the San Francisco Bay. 
 
This person will drive and manage Clinical Study data.  This is a full-time, onsite, senior role with a primary focus on the discovery and development of oncology drugs.  The ideal candidate be an integral part
of a team of achievers, interested in doing purposeful work to change the lives of patients.   Company offers relocation, but prefers candidates in the Bay area.    Salary is very strong for this position.

 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Oversee clinical development activities and strategy execution
  • sing the highest standards, manage the CD plan and the collection and interpretation of clinical data
  • Contribute to the data preparation for reporting study results, regulatory submissions, and publications
  • Advise on the improvement of data management SOP' s
  • Train and mentor junior staff members in the clinical data department
 
Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a life sciences field
  • 6+ years managing clinical trial data
  • Expertise in data validation and developing data management plans
  • Proven track record of leading early and late stated clinical data management activities
  • Knowledge and experience with CDISC and CDASH standards
  • Experience with design of case report forms, concomitant medication coding, adverse events
  • Submission experience is desired
  • EDC Systems experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Collaborative team member with solid interpersonal skills
  • Oncology experience is highly preferred
