General job duties. Types of procedures required:
We get mostly observation patients, from the ED, general medsurg, pre and post op, with telemetry
Turn over of patients can be rapid; we try to keep only observation patients
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.
Meditec EMR; Pyxis for medication dispensing; , Hospira IV pump
Required skills and minimum years of experience.
2+ years experience
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required.
Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?)
There is minimum staffing of 2 license, no call, weekends are required we are a 24/7 unit
Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?)
if census is low or there isa greater need, yes there may be floating, other like units med surg, medical
oncology, ortho, rehab, psych if qualified.

Max 6 patients to 1 nurse; prefer 13:3

Will be with a RN for 1-2 shifts to check off competency and PRMC process if needed
