Scope of Patient Flow – Project Manager
The Patient Flow Manager is a Project Manager responsible for the successful planning and execution of projects as assigned by the Chief Operating Officer. Projects will range in complexity and could involve a diverse set of components with cross functional departments for the key operational initiatives of the company.
Projects will include working with the company Sales team, facilities, hospitals and their staff and other miscellaneous internal staff. 
Duties will cover a variety of operational and logistics initiatives including: understanding patient flow, Physician and hospital admin work processes, patient therapy and DME work flow. Employee will be required to have a deep understanding our Total Sleep Solution and identify and recommend a tailored made work flow to address customer’s needs. Once identified and agreed to, Employee will be responsible for implementation and providing tools that are needed for the facility to succeed. Other projects might involve contract launches, service line implementations and build-outs, government/regulatory compliances, practice transformations.
This position will also act as a mediator between the Regional Sales Managers and CAS’ and facilities/potential customers to ensure all projects are completed in a timely manner, within SOP guidelines and in accordance with established project methodologies, workflow, standards and procedures.  
This position works with minimal supervision, therefore, the individual is expected to be a self-starter and take full responsibility for the projects assigned.  
The Patient Flow Manager will manage multiple projects concurrently and is expected to manage these issues in a reasonable manner.  
Responsibilities – Patient Flow Manager
  • Assist with creating plans and strategies to help grow post-sales implementation and map accounts within our TSS development in order to build business solutions and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify key clinical issues related to Facility, Hospital and Patient logistics and improve/create/implement where there are opportunities to enhance clinical services or improve health outcomes.
  • Responsible for building process’ systems, tools and logistics to support in-house specialists while fostering relationships with extremal customers.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with other departments internally and 3rd party (Sales, Contracting, Customer Support, IT, Claims, Eligibility, Admissions, Customer Relations and Member Services, Medical Management, Performance Programs, Network Management, etc.) to enable effective & accurate project administration and completion.  
  • Create tools which Hospitals, patients and administrative staff will utilize to streamline the TSS process.
  • Act as a resource and subject matter expert regarding answering / researching questions with regard to projects.
  • Facilitate communication between the company and external customers.  Ensure that verbal and written communication is clear and concise. 
  • Assist COO and VP of Sales in developing metrics and tools to measure progress on department goals.
  • Working experience within a Hospital/Facility system is required.
  • Medical Device, Cardiology and/or Pharma experience highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance issues is vital.
  • Proven support in the implementation of logistics and management decisions.
  • A minimum of 4 to 6 years proven project management experience is required.
  • Understanding of project management techniques and communication skills needed to successfully direct complex health and business projects is required.
  • Six Sigma or Project Management Certification highly preferred.
