Scope of  Marketing Coordinator / Manager
Marketing Coordinator / Manager is responsible for creating and managing the KOL (Key Opinion Leader)
The individual will take steps to measure, enhance, and enrich both the internal and external image of the company through various goals and objectives. 
Additionally, this position should accomplish business development activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans both current and long-term.
Responsibilities – Marketing Manager
  • Lead company with literature adaptation, creation, maintenance and distribution including copywriting, branding and messaging.
  • Work closely with operational associates and customers to gauge key unmet needs, analyze key market trends and conduct competitor analysis to ultimately develop and implement national and regional marketing strategies to meet established and measurable targets.
  • Responsible for successful company’s product launch execution including solid technical knowledge, competition, graphics, branding duties.
  • Perform as an expert in the areas of (not limited to): messaging, ad campaigns, marketing and sales collateral, print and online media planning, tradeshow strategy and tactics.
  • Ensure that ROI is measurable through the utilization of tools to measure, quantify and analyze marketing efforts.
  • Understand positioning strategies; create implements and manage channel/segment positioning for competitive advantage.
  • Ability to understand trends impacting the overall business and the healthcare industry as a whole.
  • Strategize with other system (SalesForce) users to help determine processes and report on these to meet the expected service and quality levels.
  • Assist the Sr. VP of Sales and Marketing and provide input for the annual marketing plan, specifically: product forecasts (taking into consideration past history, market trends, competitive activity and required sales effort), and the marketing materials needed to accomplish the goals.
  • Form a community of networks especially within the areas of Medical, Healthcare and Marketing areas.
  • Develop ongoing liaison with key opinion leaders (KOL’s), patient support groups and other healthcare organizations to ensure that significant developments in cardio / sleep apnea field are identified and monitored.
  • Create, assist and help deliver product-related presentations, webinars and educational programs to business partners, clinicians, and internal staff ensuring content matches audience need and background.
  • Represent company at key events, functions, and forums related to select key customers, accounts, and societies with current, functional and relevant data.
  • Develop, manage and leverage clinical relationships support to help achieve broad business goals.
  • Provide Internal Product Training to staff of all levels.
  • Collaboratively develop marketing strategy for short- and long-term strategic marketing plans with product management.
  • Work on various projects and other duties, as assigned.
  • BA/BS degree required; Marketing, English, Business or Communications degree preferred; MBA a plus.
  • Experience and success with the tools of the trade in marketing including PR, written communication, website development, market research, product packaging, Microsoft software suite of products, visual communication software products, and creative services.
  • Superb writing skills - experience in content writing and copy development (ability to create brochures, PR, emailers etc.)
  • 3+ Years of Marketing Experience (Healthcare or medical device industry a plus).
  • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.
  • Abilities to create and develop product and pricing strategies, balancing firm objectives.
  • Expert in internet and social media strategy with a demonstrated track record.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in holding conversations with customers, customer evangelism, and customer-focused product development and outreach.
  • Demonstrated ability to see the big picture and provide useful advice and input across the company.
  • Ability to successfully function in an environment of constant change.
  • Excellent researching and evaluating skills.
  • Above average experience and skills with campaign launches for new products.
  • Analysis of the effectiveness of all marketing efforts.
  • Previous experience in medical, surgical, life sciences, software or other related field preferred.
  • Experience in the global marketplace is a plus.
  • Previous experience with SalesForce a plus.
