Well-established Medical Device Manufacturer seeks an Electrophysiology (EP)  Clinical Specialist who will serve as a Subject Matter Expert, providing product support education, training and insight in the use of specialty Medical Devices for selected diagnostic and interventional Electrophysiological (EP) cardiac procedures. This position is ideal for a self-starter who has the proven ability to proctor physicians and/or ancillary staff in procedures on the use of the device. The Electrophysiology (EP) Clinical Specialist will provide technical training, under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities of the Electrophysiology (EP) Clinical Specialist:
  • Trains internal and external customers on the proper use of the Medical Devices (will be EP physicians, clinicians and technicians)
  • Communicates with marketing and sales teams to address technical and clinical issues 
  • Operates computer simulation equipment and supports the use of various vessel model units during trade shows and clinical meetings
  • Develops and maintains clinical communications to support, document and drive appropriate product utilization
  • Supports clinical seminars and medical society personnel
  • Visits key customers to evaluate products and develop customer relationships
  • Demonstrates a commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance with all quality requirements
Requirements of the Electrophysiology (EP) Clinical Specialist:
  • Technical or professional health services license from an accredited college or university (RT, RCIS, RN) and/or 2 years in a technical program or a 4 year health sciences degree
  • Must have 3 or more years of experience in clinical setting, with some experience in EP Cardiac Electrophysiology 
  • Able to work independently and present complex clinical and technical data to others with varying backgrounds
  • Ability to travel 50-70% of the time, if necessary
  • Able to handle customer inquiries and respond with company information
