Overview

•    Engages staff and creates a positive team environment on the unit.  Is fair and consistent in policy application and corrective action.  
•    Serves as role model for professionalism and always demonstrates hospital Behavior Standards and hospital Code of Ethics.
•    Maintains confidentiality and follows hospital Privacy Code and HIPAA.
•    Possesses the knowledge and competency to interact act with the population served. 
•    Regularly attends continuing education sessions to keep abreast of new developments and trends in field of expertise
•    Attends required leadership development programs at hospital; Participates in professional associations related to their area of expertise.
•    This is a general overview of main responsibilities.  Leader will be responsible for all other duties that may be assigned to him/her.
•    Establishes open communication with key stakeholders (i.e. physicians and other customers).  
•    Meets with customers on a regular basis and engages customers for input in decisions whenever possible.
•    Brainstorms and offer unique ideas; facilitates innovation in others.
•    Effectively copes with change and can shift gears comfortably.
•    Adaptable and maintains effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or work environment. 
•    Understands how the organization works and is able to get things done through formal and informal networks.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities?

Bachelor’s Degree
Florida Board of Pharmacy Registered Pharmacist License, Florida Consultant of Record License 

Special Skills and Experience:  
Minimum of 2 years Hospital Pharmacy Experience Required. Leadership Experience Preferred.
